Design & Installation of Grid-Connected PV (GCPV) Systems Training
 
  Training on the Design and Installation of GCPV Systems
 

SEDA Malaysia provides training on the design and installation of GCPV systems. The 10-day course is structured for compliance with the requirements of the Institute for Sustainable Power (ISP) where the training will encompass both theoretical and practical sessions, ending with a competency examination. SEDA Malaysia is also the first centre in ASEAN to apply for the world-renown ISPQ accreditation for its GCPV training.

The course covers:

  • The design of GCPV systems that include solar PV modules inverter and associated equipment
  • The installation of the GCPV systems up to the inverter. (Note: the electrical wiring of the system can only be undertaken by licensed electricians)

The training will be held at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) and Selangor Human Resource Development Centre (SHRDC).The fee is inclusive of course materials, provision of facilities for practical sessions, insurance and lunch - details can be found in the Application Form. Participants attending the GCPV at SHRDC may be eligible for the SME Corp 70% subsidise scheme, please download the file to check for eligibility criteria. If the participant is eligible, then the participant is only required to pay RM2,400, the balance of the training fees of RM5,600 will be borme by SME Corp. Notes:

  • Limited to only 15 participants per training session.
  • The registration will only be confirmed upon receipt of the applicable fees.
  • A Company may register more than one participant. However, priority will be given to only two participants per company. Subsequent registered participants may be accepted depending on the availability of seats closer to the training date.
  • ANY FEES PAID ARE NOT REFUNDABLE.  HOWEVER, SEATS MAY TRANSFERRED.
  • Fees are claimable under HRDF fund.
  • Any postponement by a participant can only be made at least one (1) month before the training date. A participant is not allowed to postpone his/her training date if he/she is unable to find a replacement by the date falling 1 month before the registered training date.
